1st trip to our new beach...

The trip to Tybee Beach was a cold one. We forget that even though the sun is shining, it doesn't mean that the beach won't be freezing... well we rememberd that reeeal quick. Tybee Beach is about 25 minutes away and is very small and cute. It has tons of hole in the wall restaurants that are quite expensive but neat. We enjoyed some grouper fish, fried of course, at Sting Ray's. Then we moseyed our way down to the beach. There we saw some seagulls and pelicans! I had never seen huge pelicans like these so I made Jordan go out into the water and take a picture so I could show you. Look!

Anyway we had fun on our little adventure to the beach!

The happiest day...

From the beginning to now..

Jordan and I met either the last week of November 2007 or the 1st week of December 2007, we can't remember which one. It was a winter of wonderful bliss. We both lived down in Provo/Orem, UT. We spent most nights going out on crazy dates that lasted all night and well into the next morning most of the time. Then if things got a little dry we would drive up to Park City to mix things up a bit. As time went on I began to notice that Jordan was a very persistent person and would not give up on me. He knew he wanted to marry me after the first time meeting me and that never left his mind. He continued to ask me out, just waiting for me to realize the obvious. He knew it would take some time. I am a little bit slower in realizing the obvious, we all know this:)

Then the Spring brought a huge change. Our relationship took a giant leap when we decided to take a random trip to California, just he and I. We drove all ten hours without any music, by choice, because we couldn't stop talking. So we talked and talked and talked some more. It was on that trip, I knew  that Jordan would be the man I would marry and that was that. Randomly, Marriage came up on the way home from California and we decided we would get married in August. 

Time flew by so fast, we were engaged in June and then it turned out that September was a better month to get married and that is when the big event happened. September 27th,2008 Jordan and I were married in the Bountiful Temple. The happiest day of our lives!

The days following were full of happiness, sunshine and wonderful food! We went to a luau and learned interesting things about the Hawaiian culture and ate some tasty ground-roasted pig. Everyday we went to little beaches and a couple times we snorkeled. One time we were just swimming in the ocean and right next to me was a huge turtle! I got scared but he was cute I guess. But as the days in Kauai were coming to an end, we realized that reality would hit when we returned home and in which it did, we left hawaii's 80 degree weather to come home to a snow storm in lovely Utah. But we loved our honeymoon and would go back with no hesitation.

 

One week after we returned home, we packed up and took a huge journey across the country with our destination being Savannah, GA. We drove through beautiful Denver into nasty Kansas and onto crazy people Oklahoma and entered into the big state of TEXAS. There we visited my cousins Stephanie and Derek and there two cute kiddos in San Antonio and then drove back up to the Dallas/ Ft. Worth area to visit the Goulding grandparents and Aunt Lori and Uncle Derk. We learned so many things just in our short stay in TX, like you can kill anyone for no reason if they come on your property. Also, everything is big in TX (they really aren't lying about that!) and that most of the people are so kind and thoughtful, even on the roads! Coming from UT that was a breath of fresh air.

As we moved along through Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and into Georgia we figured out the states that we will apply to for jobs. We also figured out the states that we will never apply to for jobs, but we won't go into specifics. But overall it was so much fun! We stopped at a McDonalds in every state because we thought we had a better chance of winning the monopoly game because different states probably were given different pieces. That didn't happen, but we thought it was worth every calorie:)







About 7 days after leaving UT, we finally made it to GA where we now have an apartment. Inside our apartment we have an air mattress, a table with two chairs, not four, and a TV with a TV stand. No cable comes through so it just sits there. That is all we have and you know what, the reality still hasn't set in for us. Our life is still pure bliss and happiness and we hope it stays that way.
