REVVIN' Up For A Big Yell

So funny! I love this. It never changes! He is very very calm until I have made him wait a little too long for food. We are pretty sure that he gets that from me. I guess it is karma for what I do to other people:)

Just Kickin' Back

This is Vance. He is chill 24 hours a day...

The Cutest Hat

Auntie Angie and Uncle Bill gave Vance the cutest hat ever! He hates hats so they only last for about 1-2 minutes tops but this one lasted like 15 minutes! He was loving the new look of hunting or Sherlock Holmes, we don't know but it sure is adorable!

My Boys

They are so cute! It's weird to think that Vance will be this big! He loves his Daddy. I think Vance is trying to give him a big bear hug:)

Not Ready Just Yet

The past couple nights have been rough. Vance sleeps right next to me in a pack n' play. He snores and snorts all night! He keeps me up and I was starting to think that it might be time for him to sleep in his crib. So I decided to hook up the monitors and try this out. I rocked him to sleep in his room and as a did that I started to cry. I then realized that I am not ready for my little boy to go into his own room. I love having him right by me even though he keeps me up ALL night. He is so happy when he wakes up and I love seeing him smiling at me when I roll over. He is so special. It is not time to move him just yet.

My little boy is 2 Months Old

I can't believe that Vance is already two months old! Two months in my pregnancy took forever but these last 2 months have flown by! He is now about 14 pounds and 24 inches long. I am now buying him 6 month clothes. He can fit into 3-6 month but it is getting a little bit tight! He is my little tank. He basically is my home gym. Lifting him all day is my workout:) (I wish!)

A few new things he has started to do...

1) He likes to suck on his whole fist. He can't quite figure out the one finger thing so it ends up being his whole fist.

2) Pooping up his back. He does this at least two times a day. He is a power pooper! Haha sick I know but I'll forget it and I want him to know what kinda of "crap" I had to deal with:)

3)He hates being rubbed with lotion. He fights me. It is going to be tough when he gets bigger and can tell me "no".

4) He is really figuring out how to talk. Instead of crying, he yells when he is hungry. I think that it is so cute!

5) He is a momma's boy. When he is mad or upset, he calms right down when he sees or hears me. He loves his daddy but he knows who feeds him:) I love that!

Christmas time in Montana

I have been wanting to get on here since we got home! There is so much to get down in writing. We can start off with Christmas break. It started out with a great car trip to Montana. Vance is an easy baby. He really loves car rides and pretty much sleeps the whole time unless he gets hungry. So we don't mind driving anywhere with him. After being in Montana for two days, Vance came down with a little runny nose, sneezing, and rumbly chest, basically a head cold. Within a day and a half, the whole family got this head cold and we all were miserable! My little boy gave us the worst head cold that I have had in a long time. I STILL have headaches! So that was a constant thing through the whole trip.
This was an exciting Christmas for us. We got to be real Santa and Mrs. Santa Clause(which I loved)! This was Vance's first Christmas. He loved it so much that he slept through opening presents and breakfast. Oh the life of a baby. It also was a white Christmas. It was a perfect morning. In the afternoon we went to the movie Sherlock Holmes(very good). The movie was kinda loud so I thought I could get away with nursing Vance. NOPE, Vance decided to sing as loud a he could while he ate during the quietest part of the movie. Pretty sure the whole theater heard him. I had to take him out and feed him. After the movie, a lady three rows back, got my attention and said, " Oh we heard him nursing, he was so cute!" I was so embarrassed! I guess it's not the worst thing that could happen:)

The rest of the time we just hung out. Jordan, my dad and the boys played XBox as much as they could... so loud and annoying.

As usual, we had amazingly delicious food prepared by my parents. I love going home because of the yummy yummy food... and the family of course!

Then we headed off to the cabin for some fun in the snow! There actually wasn't that much snow and it was decent weather. We loved playing games and laughing until late. Steph and Derek and the kids were there. We loved seeing them. Their little boy Aiden is 2 and Ava is almost 4. They could not get enough of Vance. They would talk and sing to him. Aiden would take Vance's socks on and off, which was very frustrating for him because Vance made it very hard to put them back on. Ava would follow me to check on him when he was sleeping. She will be a very good babysitter for her mommy and daddy! They both loved to kiss Vance. We miss them so much and wish they lived closer!

It was a great time to be with my family for Christmas! We love love love going to Montana. It is a very peaceful place. We can't wait until we can go up there again!
