Furniss Family Reunion

The Furniss Family Reunion is pretty chill. The guys play golf in the morning and then we all meet up at a park for dinner and games. It was relaxing and fun to see everyone. I didn't get pictures of anyone... oops... but we had fun.
Grandpa Jim and Dustin. Grandpa LOVES games like horseshoe and bean bag toss. I got a lesson on how to throw it just right and when I didn't do it right... he gave me a look like, ' you are embarressing me.'
Haha!
The cutest thing ever. He was starving but I made her wait because his cry is so sweet and he rarely does it.
He loves his momma.

Vance and his Water Bottles

Vance love love loves water bottles. I was telling Jordan that Vance could be a Kirkland Signature Water Bottle model! ha ha.. He didn't like the suggestion. But anyway, we got him posing with Auntie Angie...

Hard Core Chicas

Ever since Cade was a week old, Angie and I would go walking in the Provo Canyon. It is gorgeous during this time of the season. Thank goodness our kids are on the same schedule. Now we have added Ashley Manwill/Mounteer into the mix. So fun! Her little baby, Jaynie, is 4 1/2 months old. We have worked our way up to running 2 miles with strollers... we feel great about this accomplishment. If anything, we feel that it is great girl time and that it is very necessary. You know what I love about it, we have new things to talk about every day. We have known each other our whole lives but the conversations never get boring! I love our morning walk/ runs/ chatting time. Love you girls!

Vance's New Look

Spider-man glasses from Grandma Goulding... he doesn't really like anything on his head or his face but he kept them on long enough for me to get this awesome picture.

Happy Father's Day

I love Jordan... let me tell you why:

1) He is so patient.
2) He is a great listener.
3) Great cleaner.. thank you Sandy for teaching him:)
4) Vance can't wait for his daddy to come home because Jordan rolls on the ground and plays and plays with Vance.
5) He only does things if there is a deal involved. Like right now he can't eat hamburgers of any kind if I read a book a month. He has done alright only because I haven't even finished a book in two months.
6)He is understanding of people, especially me.
7) He loves his family and my family.
8) He could not wait to be a dad... that was obvious because we were only married for 6 months before I got pregnant.
9) He is a honorable priesthood holder.
10) He is my best friend and I love him.

Let me tell you what else I love about him:

When we got pregnant, I was working at 4 a.m. so I was getting up at 3:20 a.m. I was so tired, more tired than usual, I had a feeling why. So I took the pregnancy test and sure enough, I was pregnant. So I went right in at 3:30 in the morning and woke him up. He popped out of bed and was so excited. He hugged me and cuddled me. I was terrified but knowing how badly he wanted to be a dad made the whole thing worth it.

He loves coming right home to see us. He says that there are more kids on the way, but for now, he wants to play with just Vance for a while and gain a good trusting, fun relationship with him. He was born to be a daddy which makes my life much easier.

I love you Jordan.

6 Month Pictures... Well Sorta

I am not very good at following through with things sometimes and this would be the one I didn't follow through, Vance's 6 month pictures. I had to make up for it so we borrowed my sister-in-laws nice camera and took his 7 month pictures. I love his chubby cheeks and how happy this boy is all the time. He has gotten used to the fact that I take tons of pictures. I love my boy and I can't imagine my life without Vance. P.S. Vance's eyes are green but they look brown in the pictures. Weird.
