Trip to MT

A couple of weeks ago we got to go up to Montana to visit my family. It was relaxing as usual and so fun. My brothers are in a band together called The Clock Method and so they practiced everyday ( it was a little loud) but I love that they have so much in common and that they are so passionate about something that they love. My mom is amazing how she goes day to day starting with seminary at 6 a.m. then work 7:30 a.m -5 p.m., then home to take are of my brothers, the rentals properties, the house, Chico(our dog), dinner, bills, etc. That of course is a little harder when my dad is in Africa. She is an amazing woman! What a great example. I would love to write about my dad being there but he was in Africa this time. He works hard for 6 weeks flying in Africa and then he gets to come home for 6 weeks. That really helps when he gets back home. We love being up in Montana.

This is their audience. His name is Nick K Fed Rambo Stallone, haha!

Our New Nephew

On May 11, 2009, William Cade Carter came into our lives. Angie had to have a C- section because Mr. Cade was a big boy. We were able to see most of the procedure... this was unbelievable! I was so nervous for Angie and really nervous that Bill would pass out and end up on a table next to my sister ( he doesn't do blood or really anything of that sort). Bill did well and so did Angie. The baby came out perfectly. What an emotional morning:) That is a beautiful site when a sweet little baby is born. I was so glad that I got to be there and see my sweet nephew being born. Cade was 9 lbs. 6 oz. and 21 in. long. Big boy:)

Before they went in...
This is what Bill had to wear in the C-section. I think it should be called "the bee man suit"

We all decided that Cade looks great in all shades of blue.

A month's worth...

So I guess we have been busy! I haven't even thought about updating our blog this month. The last post the only new thing Vance was doing was eating solids, now he is doing so much! This stage is so fun. He is much more active and since he is always a happy, our lives are a breeze.

Things our sweet boy does now:

1) Sucks on EVERYTHING
2) Loves to eat his toes
3) Screams for everything ( I tried to cut it short but my computer wouldn't let me and Jordan got a little crazy with the camara) I love how my mom is yelling at some students and Vance yells at them too... He's got her back:)

4) Rolls around the living room

5) He sits up until he realizes that his toes are in sight and then he bends down and goes right for them
