Vance is big everywhere but his feet and Jaynie is little everywhere except her feet. She has the same size feet as Vance.. haha!

My Birthday in Vegas

March 21 was my birthday and we really wanted to get away. The closest city with shopping and great weather is Las Vegas. All I wanted for my birthday was to lay in the sun by the pool and drink a pina colada (virgin of course) and be there with my love and my sweet baby boy. So that's just what we did! It was fantastic! My in-laws and Jenna came to Vegas also. That was fun to hang out and relax with them. They love Vance so much and it is so fun to watch them play with him.


One time when Grandpa Brad was holding Vance, I had to take him and change him and when I took him away he cried and cried! haha, he loves his grandma and grandpa! We had amazing food and a overall great time!

We went to this restaurant for my birthday. We had read the reviews and the reviews said it was delicious but when we got there it was a little different than the reviews. The employees must have written them. I was kind of embaressed that I chose this restaurant over the ones that everyone had suggested. But oh well, what can you do... we had fun anyway:)

Best Friends Forever

Girlfriends that are best friends always seem to joke about being pregnant at the same time and we never think that it will really happen but this time, it actually happened! My sister Angie and my cousin Stephanie are pregnant together! They are due within 1 day of each other. Angie is due the 9th of May and Steph is due the 10th. Angie is having a boy and Steph is having a girl... it is going to be so fun! We are so excited for both of them!

His 1st Girlfriend

Vance could not keep his eyes off of Miss Jaynie Mounteer. He loves her already. We did pose them and he could not have been happier! ha ha! This is probably the only time I will be okay with this position of him being so close to a girl :)

She is a little scared... might be a little too soon for Jaynie!

Vance is 4 Months Old

I miss the newborn stages but I really love this stage. He does all sorts of things. To name a few:

1) He reaches for things! I was a little worried because for the past month I would lay him in his bouncy chair with the little animals that hang and he would just yell at them and not reach for them. Now he does!

2) He hooks his finger in the binky loop and pulls it out and waves it in the air.

3) He laughs a little bit. Well he has only done it once with Jordan's brother, Jesse.

4) He can sit up if he's concentrating on something... so I don't know whether or not to count that:)

5) He loves to feel mommy or daddy's faces. He looks at them like I know you and I love you:)
